UPDATES AUGUST 2008 - A WINNER FOR GAY KELLEWAY
14th August 2008
A WINNER AT BEVERLEY!

Kylie and Gay Kelleway
They say everything comes to those that wait, and Kylie has certainly been riding well but winners have just not come her way.
Today she rode for Gay Kelleway at Beverley racecourse and won comfortably on the 6/1 shot Shenandoah Girl.
Kylie has certainly been putting in the road miles lately, riding one at Hamilton yesterday and then Beverley today.
Well done Kylie!

SHENANDOAH GIRL missed the break, but she was given a confident ride by Kylie Manser, who waited until the final point of the turn before beginning to make headway. She had to sit and suffer and wait for a gap to appear in the last two furlongs, but once she found daylight, her mount answered willingly and soon sped away. She handled the ground well and looks in good heart.
Kylie Manser came in for plenty of praise from Gay Kelleway after steering Shenandoah Girl to victory in the 1m4f selling handicap.
Manser remained cool after her mount missed the break and, despite having to wait for a gap to appear more than than a furlong, she confidently drove her home to gain a length and a half success.
Kylie is with Brendan Powell and comes to ride out for me three times a week, said Kelleway.
She rides really well and would probably be the best 7lb claimer in the country
