WHAT PEOPLE SAY ABOUT KYLIE!

--------------------------

Martin Bosley reckons his handful of horses are “on fire” with Boldinor making it five wins since May for the yard.

He described Kylie Manser’s ride as “brilliant” on such a strong horse, especially as he followed a loose horse round the course afterwards do another circuit!

Arriving late into the winner’s enclosure, an embarrassed Manser groaned: “The cameras were on me because I was winning. I think he wants further!”

ELOISE PENNY FROM HEART OF THE SOUTH RACING

"Kylie gave our filly “Rubilini” a cracking ride on her only ever victory. Rode to instructions perfectly and even enjoyed a glass of bubbly with the owners after the race which was a nice touch. The gentlemen owners were especially happy about that!"

From Gay Kelleway after winning at Beverley 14th August 2008

Courtesy of The Racing Post:
Gay Kelleway said about Kylie:
“She rides really well and would probably be the best 7lb claimer in the country“

Trainer, John Best said about Kylie:

"She recently dropped her amateur status to become an apprentice and she has impressed with all four rides in her new role". John Best went on to say:

"She has done a lot of work with Stan Mellor to improve her riding in a finish and I expect her to progress very well. It's difficult for girls but Kylie could make it because she's very strong and determined".

After Kylie's win on Burnt Copper, a 20-1 shot John Best said, "As Burnt Copper was drawn wide I told Kylie to hold him up and mare sure he was running on in the finish. Perhaps the professional don't really listen to the trainer sometimes, but she did, and she won". Four days later at Salisbury Kylie gained another success on Kallista's Pride winning by a short head at 14/1!
